The Year 7 Boys football team showed great desire and willingness to learn. After a difficult first half against a very technically strong Winchmore side, it was clear Broomfield boys took the half time advice on board. The shape of the side second half was much more rigid as the boys balanced their superb enthusiasm with some positional intelligence. This led to a very positive second half display which made it much harder for Winchmore to break the defence. Adam in particular showed an appetite to learn, he implemented the feedback given to him and amended his game second half, which led significant improvements in his role at centre back.
The willingness to learn and keep improving will certainly pay off and be sure to expect a lot of success both in the near future and further down the road from this side.
